The exchanger models with “U” tube bundle are particularly indicated for the cooling of fluids and gases at high temperatures (steam, diathermic oil, superheated water, etc.) as they allow the free expansion of the bundle tubes.
Being this bundle removable, it also gives the possibility of carrying out careful maintenance/cleaning which favours the restoration of the appliance rather than replacement.
Tubes
Tubes of diameters [5/8”] are used, materials are iron or smooth carbon steel
Baffles
Printed from sheet steel and perforated by punching. Both the holes and the external diameter of the deflectors allow strict and defined tolerances to guarantee maximum thermal efficiency.
Shell
It is realized in carbon steel. Connections are proposed with both BSP threads and with UNI – SAE – ANSI flange.
Tube sheet
It can be realized with different materials like carbon and stainless steel.
Covers
Standard executions expect cast iron covers, in 2 or 4 pass version, realized by moulding.
